“So what is your Nexus event…your majesty?” “I killed Thor” - Kid Loki

The idea to make Kid Loki came about after watching the new Disney+ show Loki and instantly falling in love with the whole cast of characters. Having a majority of the supplies already on hand for Kid Loki, I decided to create this costume in a week to have in time to wear to DragonCon 2021 (face masks required).

For this costume, I created a custom pattern base using a combination of tunics and hoodie patterns. The main tunic was then hand sewn.

The props such as the crown and emblem were 3D printed followed by priming, sanding, and painting.

The belt was created using EVA foam and goggly eyes for the grommets.

Everyone’s favorite part of the costume, Alligator Loki, was made from an alligator puppet I had. The crown was 3D modeled and printed on a resin printer to cut down on how much sanding I was doing.
